Online Fundraising Strategy for 2008

How was your end-of-year campaign? Some major nonprofits reported to us that they expected to get almost half of their total annual online gifts in the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve – up to $1,000,000 in just those six days! “Are we that good at getting last-minute income-tax-avoidance gifts, or are we just that bad in online fundraising the rest of the year?” one Marketing Director asked me rhetorically?
