NPA Launches Online Advocacy Demonstration Site!
NPAdvisors.com has launched a demonstration of its online advocacy tools for you to use in evaluating it for your nonprofit. You can also use it as a guide to see what elements should be in any online advocacy system. The tool is at www.npadvisors.com/action and it includes access to the full database of elected officials in the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate. You can easily find your members of Congress just by entering your address. Then you can send them an e-mail to express your opinion (Note: This is a demonstration system. It will NOT actually send your e-mail to anyone.) The web pages also demonstrate the online petition which is a useful way to gather names and addresses of supporters. The online petition tool includes a tell-a-friend section and produces an automatic e-mail thanking each petition signer right away. In this demonstration mode, each signer's name is electronically attached to the petition. Please evaluate our tool and compare it to your current system.
