Jeremy P. Squire
For over 30 years Jeremy has worked in almost all areas of direct mail marketing including art and design, copywriting, project management and as a strategic consultant. He is best known as a copywriter and his direct mail packages have raised hundreds of millions of dollars for a wide variety of charities and political organizations. He lives in rural Virginia where he is connected to the rest of the world with a Powerbook G4 and a pick-up truck. His first job in direct response was at age 5 when he stuffed envelopes for his father's direct mail antiques business. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of direct mail techniques, packages and results and lists-and an unshakeable belief that results, and only results, should drive a direct response campaign. He is enthusiastic about e-mail as the most personal and effective correspondence a non-profit organization can have with their supporters short of a face-to-face meeting. However, he also offers this pearl: "If you want to irritate your supporters, send them irrelevant e-mails-preferably containing animated graphics. If you want to terminate the relationship altogether, try e-mailing them links back to an area in your site that requires them to download a plug-in." Jeremy helps our clients make the most of the new technology while avoiding the pitfalls built into it by well-meaning technical wizards. April 2002 | ||
